TMJ Therapy

TMJ can cause headaches, jaw, and orofacial pain, contributing to functional limitations associated with chewing, talking and yawning. The focus of physical therapy for temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) is relaxation, stretching, releasing tight muscles and scar tissue in order to improve maximal functionality in the temporomandibular joint. Dr. Mora has specialized training in management of TMJ, intraoral mobilization techniques and pain dysfunction syndrome related to the temporomandibular disorder.

TMJ & TMD Therapy

The Jaw Rarely Works Alone

Chewing pain, grinding, headaches, and neck tension often trace back to the same restricted joint. We assess the jaw, neck, and posture together as one system, then treat what we find.

Hear It From Our Patients

Choosing a physical therapist is a personal decision, and it helps to hear from people who have already been through it. Many of our patients have shared their experience on Google.
